My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shadow is a sweet 2 year old black female. She was an owner surrender to a high kill shelter. She was adopted out twice, only to be returned a day later because she was "too shy"/"too timid" and she was deathly scared of men. We stepped in and saved her before she was going to be PTS.

We brought her to Las Vegas, got her spayed and vaccinated and then placed in one of our foster homes. The first email update I got from them was that she was NOT any more scared of men than she was of everything new in general. After about a week, she started warming up and by the 3rd week in her foster home, she was happily greeting them when they came home and just loving her life.

Unfortunately for sweet Shadow, she was adopted out to a woman and after 7 months of flourishing in her care, she surrendered her back to us because her grandson whom she babysat a few days a week had developed severe allergies to dogs.

Miss Shadow is now back in our care at yet another home, and we are hoping she will not regress back to as timid as she was in the beginning. She is an absolute doll, completely housebroken, doesn't need to be crated and wants to be loved.

Please only apply for this gem if you are able to give her a home she can call hers FOREVER. She just wants someone to love her as much as she loves them.
