My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gwen is an affectionate, long haired, gray cat who keeps herself very clean. She is about 18 months old and has had 2 litters before arriving here..She is now spayed and current with rabies vac and tag. She was found as a stray and fed and kept outside. Since coming here a few days ago, we have discovered that she was kept inside by her previous owners. She loves to lie on my pillow and purrs whenever anyone touches her. Gwen does NOT climb on the counters or tables…She’s not use to having other cats around, so she does hiss at them for now. She was cared for in a home with small dogs so she’s good with that. However, my gentle Akita freaks her out. Gwen is good with my preschooler and ignores the bird….ANIMALS ARE UNPROTECTED IN LABS ALL OVER THE WORLD; MOST SUFFER AND DIE IN TESTS THAT ARE UNNECESSARY AND BENEFICIAL TO NO ONE. PROCTOR & GAMBLE, MAKERS OF IAMS PET FOOD, TORTURE AND KILL THOUSANDS OF ANIMALS ANNUALLY FOR THEIR PRODUCTS. PLEASE EDUCATE YOURSELF ON WHICH CHARTITIES, UNIVERSITIES, AND COMPANIES STILL PARTICIPATE IN ANIMAL TESTING OR CONTACT PETA FOR A LISTING.
