Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dog Story:
Fozdik, who was born Jan 23, 1996, joined our household in the spring. Our long beloved golden-husky mix had died from old age.
Papa had selected 4 stops at breeders. At the first stop we met a very cute male puppy, he seemed a little quite. He was so adorable we cancelled the other 3 stops. Little did we know that Brittanys were hunters, and cute Fozdik soon grew into a handsome, strong whirlwind of a dog. Soon after, we felt Fozdik needed a companion because he had a lot of energy, and could use someone to romp with in his outdoor pen. Pandy came into our lives when we adopted her from a shelter.
Fozdik was neutered but he didn't believe it. After nine years, he seemed to start slowing down just a bit--maybe he believes it now. Fozdik gets along well with Pandy. Still, we believe they could adapt to a new situation by themselves. Fozdik will occasionally bark at squirrels and other dogs passing in front of the house. However, when deer come to gaze in the pasture at dusk, the dogs turn toward them from their tie-outs, and watch over them. We believe, the dogs feel the deer are ther pets! We can envision Fozdik thinking to himself: 'not my job, mon" since the deer are much larger than this usual "prey"
Fozdik spends good weather outdoors on his long tie-out. He has loved to "escape" in the past and go for long runs, but we have learned how to keep him secure. He sleeps in a large crate in the grage, and is eager to go in for a good rest after his daily activities.
