My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bono is a gorgeous liver Dalmatian around 5 years old. He started out with a sad life – heartworm positive and a gunshot to the face. He has a dashing smile, even though it’s a little crooked. He needs to lose about 10 pounds and is currently on a low fat diet and getting lots of exercise. Bono is dog and kid friendly, but does not like cats. An experienced Dal owner could most likely train him, but we do not recommend him in a home with cats. Bono is a climber, at least at the rescue where he scales a 5.5 foot fence. He doesn’t run off; just comes around to the front to be let inside. He’s a take charge type of Dal so he needs an owner that can handle him and train him. Bono’s adoption fee is $200.
