Ruby is an adorable little chocolate, Applehead Chihuahua. She could have a little Italian Greyhound in her as well since she has loooooooong legs and a big chest. She is extremely tiny, weighing only 4 lbs. This isn't a "yappy / snappy" little chihuahua at all. She is very quiet and much prefers to be cuddling with her human or snuggled under a blanket. She is very friendly but can be a little shy at first. Ruby has some thin fur on her head but the vet says it is probably just genetic.
Ruby and her momma (since adopted), came in to rescue together. They weren't well cared for as both of them needed dentals badly. This has been taken care of already and although Ruby lost 3 teeth, the vet says the rest of them look good now. Tiny dogs are known to have rapid tartar buildup and it is imperative that proper dental care be given on a routine basis. Lucy is crate trained, paper trained, and housebroken. She also walks on a leash well.
This dog has been spayed, received rabies and DHPP vaccinations, de-wormed and tested negative for heartworms. She is also micro chipped
