Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Colin is Golden Retriever mix puppy. Amber is his mom and Doyle is his brother.
Doyle has more brawn to his young physique and more curls in his hair, especially around his ears. Maybe Doyles size and confidence have helped him become the more outgoing, rambunctious brother. He loves to play, is learning to chase the ball and enjoys long walks in the yard near soft mounds of dirt where a quick bout of after dinner digging can be enjoyed.
Collin is a bit more stoic and seems to ponder things over before deciding to take action. His deep thinking has helped him learn his potty training and stair climbing more quickly than his sports-star brother. While some new people and situations seem to make Collin a bit hesitant, he makes up for his shyness with snuggles and kisses, GRFRs currency of choice.
Both puppies are incredibly loving and really enjoy being held. They like being around kids, adults and other dogs, they snooze through the night and can replace your clock radio or cell phone alarm in the morning, provided you want to get up early.
These are amazing puppies!
Please remember that GRFR adopts puppies to forever families who have sufficient time at home to socialize, house train and nurture their new puppy.
Puppies need all 3 booster shots before they can go out into public places. Puppies should not leave your home or your yard or be exposed to any other dogs unless you are certain the other dogs (i) have been fully vaccinated and (ii) are older than six months, and (iii) have not been around any dogs who may not be fully vaccinated, e.g. If your dog has been to a dog park. Your puppy should not go to parks or Petsmart or anywhere else until they have their last booster shot, as they could contract a potentially lethal virus. You also will want to bring your puppy to your vet very soon after the adoption for their personal checkup and to get a baseline for their health. Since many puppies need a dewormer, or two, we encourage you to discuss this with your new puppy's vet during their first visit as well.
The adoption fee for GRFR puppies is $300. GRFR has a $50 refundable spay/neuter deposit for all puppies, and other dogs who have not been altered at the time of adoption. Our Vet Coordinator will contact you when the time is near to schedule your puppy's surgery at a participating GRFR vet at GRFR's cost. Once we have confirmation of the surgery, your deposit will be refunded
