Update 9/27/11: Meet beautiful Lola!



Lola is a sweet 5 yr old mixed breed. She is small, around 20 lbs.



Lola was rescued from a bad living situation when she was very pregnant. Lola had her babies under our rescue's care. Her pups are all adopted and it is Lola's turn to find a 'forever home' now.



Lola has been a wonderful guest in her foster home. She is good with the other dogs and enjoys the company of her people.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.

Please note that we do not ship animals or do same-day adoptions. Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.



We try to make our adoption process as easy and painless as possible, but please understand where we are coming from and all of the work that goes into rescuing and rehoming homeless animals.
