My name is General. I was surrendered to a high-kill shelter in Illinois by a very angry, abusive man because I wouldn't hunt. He hurt me very badly & now am a bit timid at first with men. I absolutely LOVE women & will smother them with kisses. With , treats, patience & love, I may be able to gain trust in a patient, kind-hearted man again.

I've come to Chances for my second-chance at life & as a family dog, not a hunting dog. I am a very sweet, boy & I love to run outside & play!

I am up-to-date on my vaccinations & I will be micro-chipped when I go home
