My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoey is a sweet girl--approx 1 1/2 yrs old--currently weaning her litter of pups born 5/31--also shown on this site. Our girl is 25 lbs: on the larger side of small or on the smaller side of medium sized. She was a pregnant stray looking for a safe place to have her babies when she found a family that gave her such a place. She is becoming more of a playful girl now that the pups are getting older. She enjoys the company of the other dogs---she is a real cuddle baby & loves to be touched. She has shown no issues in the month that she has been here even though she had young pups & most moms are very protective of their kids. She is a bit fussy when being groomed about the face but an experienced groomer will know how to handle that. Zoey is scheduled to be spayed wk of Aug 8 & will be ready for her new home the 3rd wk of Aug. If you would like to make Zoey part of your family, please contact the rescue for an application. Her adoption fee of $375 .
