My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sam’s a heartbreaker! Who will be the lucky person who adopts this loveable teddy bear with infectious happiness? All of the rescuers and behavioral trainers who had the pleasure of spending time with Sam wish they could adopt him. Sam is a happy, loving boy who wants nothing more than to have a family of his own. Sam is a very sweet, gentle boy who is good with other dogs and would probably be fine with cats. Sam was surrendered with a female named Samantha and we think he’d really like to have another girlfriend because Samantha doesn’t seem to have the same affection for him. He’s only met one little girl, approximately 7 years old, while in foster care and he went right up to her and let her pet him. Sam is still a little bit shy and unsure of strangers but he is willing to go up to people and greet them. All he wants is for people to be nice to him, something he didn’t experience in his past home. Don’t let Sam’s age deter you. He’s about 6 years old but has the energy of a 1 year old dog. Jindos tend to live long lives and it is not uncommon for them to live 16-20 years, so 6 for a Jindo is like 3 for most other breeds. Sam has gone through obedience training with a professional behaviorist and he is a true Move-In-Ready dog. He’s the perfect fit for an active family who also works. He’s happy to sleep all day but is ready to go when you are. Sam is house trained, crate trained and perfectly leash trained. Sam is currently under the care of another rescue, but Treasured k9s is assisting with finding and screening applicants for him since we have his mate Samantha.
Jindos are a rare breed from Korea and researching the breed is highly recommended.
Experience with Akitas, Shiba Inus, Sharpei, Chows, Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, Samoyeds, American Eskimos and a similar Spitz breed is preferred.

Knowledge of the Nothing in Life is Free theory and/or Cesar Millan’s methods are essential for a successful adoption. If you are interested in adopting Miracle, please visit www.treasuredk9s.org submit an adoption application.
