Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Blackie Brown is one of the happiest dogs in the world!!
Blackie came to DDRI from his owner who decided he needs a home where someone can be home with him more often than she could. Blackie also has crate anxiety and will attempt (and most of the time successfully) escape from the crate. He has several scars on his nose from breaking out of crates.
We have not crated Blackie since he arrived and there hasn't been any reason to. He has only been left alone for 3-4 hours max and we had no problems.
Because of Blackie's issues, he needs to be in a home where he will not be alone for 8-9 hours a day.
Blackie is 14 months old, he is cropped (a very short - one flopped crop), docked, UTD on vaccines, HW-, house trained and neutered.
Blackie gets along with all other dogs - big, small, male and female. He was tested with cats and barked at them (but they *were* hissing at him).
Blackie is also a favorite with all of the kids he lives with. He is with children aged 5 - 15. He loves them all.
Blackie is a super boy who is so very special. He is going to make some family very, very happy.
We are really enjoying our time with him.
