My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATE 8/28/11: Suzie is still very shy around strangers. She does very well with her foster brothers and sister. Sometimes her bossy side does emerge a little. She tries to keep the others in line. She will go outside with her foster brother Tedd and make sure he doesn't get lost in the backyard as he is blind. So in this case her bossy side is useful. She can run like the wind so she will have to have a fenced yard. When she is frightened you will find her hiding in the smallest space possible.

UPDATE 8/09/11: Suzie has started to come out of her shell a bit. She gets along well with her foster Brothers, they are about her size so I don't think she feels threatened by them. She is beginning to trust that we are going to take very good care of her and give her the love that she has been looking for. She loves to sit on your lap and sleep next to you. she will need a home with adults and someone who is home most of the time. She was rather thin and nervous when she first got here, but eats well and is starting to fill out. She is starting to feel very comfortable and knows she will never be neglected again.

UPDATE 8/03/11: Suzie has been with us for a few days now, children seem to make her very nervous, so I think she would do best in a home with one or two adults only as she is so small. She is working on her potty skills and may take a little work. She is very quiet and I think she would do best in a quiet home.

Initial bio 8/01/11: Initial Bio 08/01/11: Suzie is 4lb 12oz little girl. We don't know much about her yet but enjoying getting to know her. She was surrendered by her owner because they said she was too bossy around their other dogs. They also said she was shy and fearful of strangers. So far we have not really noticed either of these traits. She has only been here for a day, but she has made herself at home enjoying the beds and soft blankets as she has spent her last 3 weeks at a shelter. She loves soft little treats and her dinner. The girls at the vets told her she looked like a little princess. She is getting to know her foster brothers Romeo and Tedd and seems to have no problems with either of them. She seems to hang out more with Romeo, since Tedd is almost 17 and not really a lot of fun. Will send more updates as she gets used to us.
