My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I'm Moe! I'm a 6-year-old American Bulldog. The Pet Rescue Center was contacted by a wonderful lady after I had been dumped by my owner and was on death row at the OC Shelter! I recently had eye surgery to fix my eyelid. I had what was called entropion which means my eyelids were growing inwards! It was very irritating but the good people at the PRC fixed me up and got me ready for a new home. I LOVE to go for walks, I sit on command, I take treats with great manners, and I respond very quickly to directions. Im very playful with toys, lazer pointers or just you! I love to play tug-o-war and go for long car rides. I am a great boy that needs a forever family. I have been here since January of 2011! My adoption fee has been payed for by a wonderful volunteer at The PRC and Alicia Pet Care Center has also offered discounted health care for a year after adoption. Come visit with me!
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email us at info@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to 949-768-5759 or emailed to: info@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
