10/23/11 ADOPTION PENDING
Julie is a very sweet 3 yr old merle/merle mantle.
According to her foster mom: "Julie has such a calm, loving personality and is such a gentle soul! It's so funny, when we come home she will run up to us and give us big toothy smiles, it's so comical and cute! She loves car rides and does so well when she's in the car!!!!
She has totally mastered all her basic commands. Just to list a few... When we come to a street corner, she will sit and stay until instructed to cross, she never pulls, if we encounter other dogs or any type of animal, she doesn't bark or try to pull, she can even be trusted off her leash for short periods. She's a very intelligent girl. She can be a little skittish when it come to sudden loud noises. We've also learned that she is scared of thunderstorms but that's something we are working on with her, she just needs to be with her humans and reassured. The last storm we had she even came outside with us for a minute to watch the lightning!!!! Of course she was glued to us but she got up the courage to come and take a look. Now tell me, how awesome is she!?!?!
Julie and our son are the best of friends, she sleeps with him and waits for him to come home from School. Julie also loves her stuffed animals and like to play catch. She lets us know it's play time by getting her favorite stuffy and standing in front of us moaning.. it's so funny to hear, it's the same moan every time. She gets the "zoomies" and runs back and forth and likes to play tag. Julie is really larger than life and a true lady, I can't tell you how much we enjoy her. She is going to make an excellent addition to a loving family!!!!! "
