Sydney is an absolutely stunning spayed female golden and shepherd or maybe husky mix. She is poetry in motion and a winning combination of some very popular breeds.

Sydney’s coat is the rich golden color of the golden retriever, but has the feel of a shepherd or husky – a bit rougher than that of a typical golden. Her ears prick more like a husky, but when her ears are down and you look at her straight in the face, she’s got that golden head and that winning golden smile. She’s a bit on the smaller size than most goldens or shepherds. Her big brown eyes are deep and soulful – like she knows just what you’re thinking.

All dogs at the Humane Society of Eastern Carolina are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and on heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs 6 months or older are tested for heartworms. Adoptions come with a small bag of Hill's Science Diet food and a free one month trial of pet health insurance.
