My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ADOPTED 1/21/07: Wishes is an 8 week old kitten as of 1/12/07. She is a Persian mix as far as we can tell with a black body and white feet and bib. She is considered a tuxedo with long hair. She is very loving and sweet and VERY active as any kitten should be. She has been around large dogs and cats, as well as a young child. She loves playing with other cats, so a younger cat in the house that gets along with other kitties would be the ideal situation for her. Wishes was rescued 3 days before Christmas when she was 5 weeks old, so she is named "Wishes" as GHP wishes someday there are no homeless or unwanted pets. She is pictured in her photos with a cat friend named Amber, who is a permanent resident of GHP. Wishes is up-to-date on her kitten shots, but will need 2 more rounds to fully protect her.

Wishes MUST be kept in-doors AT ALL TIMES.... or allowed outside supervised WITH a leash and harness on (also could have a cat-proof fenced yard). Adoption includes an application, house-visit, contract, and fee. Wishes' fee includes a refundable spay deposit since she is under 4 months of age. By signing our contract, adoptees agree to return their kitties to GHP if for any reason they can't be kept any longer. People within a 50 mile radius of Colorado Springs get adoption priority due to transportation restrictions unless we can find someone to do out-of-town adoptions. NOTE: If you are interested in becoming a volunteer to do home visits in the Denver area please let me know ASAP! Chirp would love to have a forever home.
