Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Let me tell you about Prissy: When I picked her from the Augusta SPCA she was very hyper. I took all 5 dogs that I was transporting for a walk on the leash before I put them in my new car! Prissy did very well on the leash. Seemed to like being in the car, mostly ran from the drivers seat to the back and back, she did not mind steping on the poodle that slept on my lap most of the way home.It took her a few days to calm down. This was a very loved dog, she will not go outside the open door unless you ask her to come outside. I took her to the groomers who cut most of her short thick hair off and gave her the "Lion" cut. what a difference it made. She was happy to be rid of that hair, she jumped and licked and seemed like a new dog. She did not know how to go up the stairs or how to play any games. She must have been owned by an older person who walked slowly and just had her on their lap all the time, which she is very happy to do! She growled at my 7 pound pom at first because she had not been around any dogs other than the pound. Now she jumps on my guy and even instigates playing and she knows how to tell him she has had enough. She does have a small bladder and likes to go out every couple of hours but has held it when I have an 8 hour day! She has a cateract on her left eye but has no problems seeing. She picked up a little skin problem in the pound and we are washing her with a special shampoo. She would be good for an older person who does not want the puppy attitude. She is crate trained and likes her crate, likes to sleep under the bed where its dark and walks well with her harness.
