My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEED FOSTER URGENT !!!!
Bubba is a beautiful 2-3 yr old German Shepard /Rottie mix weighting around 70. lbs. He had a hard time in his life and he was almost euthanized, but luck turned around and a foster dad came to the rescue. Unfortunately his foster dad has to move from his apartment by the end of this week and cannot take Bubba with him as he is not allowed to have so many dogs. Right now he lives with 2 other dogs and a cat. Bubba loves people and is very good with other dogs as he is not the dominant one, he just doesn't like the cat. This boy is shy but with a little encouragement and a treat he'll be your best friend. Because of being locked up in a kennel for so long, he became very lonely and his foster dad worked with him many months to socialize him, but now he is much better. He gets very exited when it’s time to go out, and he is curious and loves to explore everything surrounding him.

Bubba is neutered and up to date with his shots and he knows the commands to sit and lay down. His foster dad has him with the other dogs on a routine going out so he has no accidents in the house. As long as he stays on a schedule he will be ok so we can say he is more than half way housetrained

Bubba is a good boy who loves to be with people and now he is in danger to go back to the kennel where there is no place for a boy like him. If you have room in your home and in your heart please give this gorgeous boy a place to live till we find a more stable solution for him. You can fill out the application by clicking the link below and somebody will get back to you ASAP.

The adoption process requires that you first fill out an application. While the application does not commit you to adopting a particular pet, it does allow us to learn more about you and to match you with the particular pet you are interested in. Once we call your references, we do a home visit where we bring the dog/cat so you can meet them and see how they would fit within your household. There is an adoption fee for Bubba of $200. This covers all his age-appropriate shots and vetting. We also give you a breakdown of future shots that the pet will need.

If you would like to make a donation to help us rescue more animals please make your check payable to New Hope Pet Rescue. All donations go directly to the care of the animals, we are strictly a volunteer based group. Thank you for helping us save as many lives as we can.
