Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Franklin is a bubbly and happy little guy that is anxiously waiting to find his forever family. We think Franklin is a Labrador/Beagle mix, both of which are great with kids, so he'd be a fantastic family dog. Franklin has the cutest markings - yellow body, white blaze, and freckles on his face - ADORABLE! For some reason, this poor kid found himself on the euthanasia list at a local shelter, but luckily, he was able to be saved just in time!
Franklin, or 'Frankie' as we call him, gets along perfectly with other dogs and cats. He's about 4 months old, but is already crate trained and is working very hard on his housetraining. He is still a pup, so he needs someone who understands that accidents can still happen for a few more months until he is fully developed. In addition, Frankie has a great energy level - not too hyper, but not too quiet either. He's just right!
Frankie's foster mom is currently teaching him to Sit, Down, and Stay so he'll be a well-behaved member of his new family. He's a smart little guy that picks things up quickly and is very eager to please, so with a little positive reinforcement, he'll be well on his way to aceing puppy kindergarten.
We guess that Frankie will grow to be somewhere around 40 lbs.
