Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shrek is a handsome brindle boy, nearly 4 years old and about 76 pounds. He's no lightweight, but his exceedingly calm and mellow demeanor somewhat diminishes his hefty size. He had quite a career in his day, with 105 races run all over the country, many in grade A. His racing fun was suddenly ended by a tear to a groin muscle that he just never came back from. His injury is minor and in no way will hamper his ability to be an ideal pet, but he's just not fast enough any more to compete on the track. Shrek is a perfect gentleman; friendly, lovable and interested, but not at all hyper or jumpy. We think he would be wonderful with children. He tested cat friendly and is fine with dogs of all sizes. He has been very well behaved in the house, in the van and in his crate... not a sound out of him. He walks nicely on a leash, too. We think Shrek would be a GREYT pet for just about any family.
