8-2-11 update: Isabella is more than ready for her forever home. She has been with us for several months now and is house trained, crate trained, gets along great with the other boxers in her home and loves her foster mom. She longs for the day she can hang out on the couch with her forever family. We have learned that she HATES cats and can not go to a home with any. If you share the same feelings about cats, maybe she is the girl for you!
Isabella has been in foster care approximately two weeks and one thing we know for sure is, she has a lot of puppy in her. Isabella is very good in her crate and has not had an accident while crated. We are working on potty training in the house and as long as she has the opportunity to go outside, she does. She has had two accidents in the house and is doing better. Isabella is learning basic commands and house manners. She is especially intelligent and you have to keep a step ahead of her. Isablella is shy at first meeting new people, but warms up quickly, especially if a treat is involved. Isabella goes to day care and loves to play with her foster boxer siblings. She will excell in a home with other dogs and she likes children. Will post more as we become more acquainted.
4-20-2011: Isabella is more than ready for her forever home. She is potty trained, walks well on lead, plays well with others, quiet in her crate and very sweet. Isabella may be a little shy at a first meeting, but warms up quickly and is eager to please. She would be a good family member in a home with other animals and/or children.
