Meet Spike! He’s a darling 2 1/2 year old pittie. He was saved from a high kill shelter by RD when he was a puppy, due to unfortunate unseen circumstances he was returned to rocket dog rescue 2+ years later. Now this sweet boy is back with us, and waiting for a forever home of his own.

He is so affectionate and will jump in your lap and give kisses to everyone he meets. He has such a mellow demeanor. He bonds with people so quickly and is an extremely devoted dog. He knows most of his commands, as he is just so eager to please his people. I have never met such a fun loving, social, all around great doggie. Spike’s an amazing guy and is really going to complete someone’s home and make them very happy. Spike was let down once, we don’t want that to ever happen to him again and we are waiting for his forever home to come! Spike would do best with an experienced owner.

Adopting a rescued animal is a lifetime commitment! Adopters must complete a questionnaire, personal interview and home visit prior to adopting a Rocket Dog. There is a non-refundable $240.00 adoption fee which helps us defer the cost of spay/neutering, vaccinations and microchipping, food and medication (Rocket Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization and this fee enables us to continue rescuing and helping animals).
