My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Niko is a recent victim of the jobs crisis – Her original family could no longer provide for her. She's a great dog! Housebroken, basic commands, well mannered. She's not a dog that's been abused and has all kinds of baggage. She was a loved pet and is longing to be again.

She's a beautiful brindle terrier mix (better photos forthcoming!). She's only about 2 years old at the max and weighs about 17 pounds. She's spayed, all shots, heartworm tested, microchipped, clean bill of health from the vet. Completely vetted, healthy and good to go.

She is a lover - tries to practically crawl into you and curl up on your lap. As I'm writing this, she's curled up at my feet. She's got the terrier engy though - ready to go,go go at aseconds notice! Really a great combo – the energy of the terrier and the cuddle-bug of the chihuahua. She'd be a great family dog – the energy to keep up and play with older, respectful kids and then can cuddle on the couch and be perfectly content being loved on.
