Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mick was rescued from the Merced pound the week he was to be killed. He had simply run out of time. Statistically, black animals, dogs or cats, don't get adopted. Unfortunately, black is the most common color. Poor Mick was scheduled to die simply because he was born in the wrong colored suit.
Now that he is safe with us, Mick has learned to sleep in a crate, walks on leash, and plays with other dogs. He is energetic and would do best in a home that would give him a nice long walk EVERY day. Mick is very sweet, and affectionate, and is always looking for a hand to give him a good pat or scratch on the head or neck. Mick definately has a Dane head only it is on a Lab body. He is about 70 lbs. and may still get a little bigger. Mick is very willing to please.
