Ben recently came to B.A.R.K. as a beloved family pet. Due to family medical and financial issues they could no longer keep their pets. Their other dog went to another rescue but they decided not to take Ben due to his age. B.A.R.K. knows there is a home for every dog! Is Ben your new friend?

Ben is incredibly sweet. At 8 years old and 95 pounds he has some gray on his muzzle but still loves to play at times. He enjoys hanging out with the family, kids and other dogs. He gets a long with cats and dogs alike. He is a very easy going dog and would love to be part of a home for his retirement life.

Ben is terrified of balloons, best to keep balloons away from him! He doesn't walk the best on a leash, but still willing to learn, and does know sit and stay. He suffers from allergies and does well on Benadryl, when needed, or there is a shot the vet can give him every 4-6 weeks.
