Here's what the humans have to say about me:
As soon as Taylor was old enough to leave her mother, she was given to a family for their four young children. The expectation was that the children, all under 10, would take total responsibility for her. Unfortunately, we all know that doesn't happen. The parents, feeling like they had enough to do with the four kids, asked around and when nobody would take Taylor, they stuck her in the backyard on a 5 foot chain and forgot about her. No shelter & no shade for large portions of the day in sweltering heat. Taylor got food, if one of the kids decided to feed her. She seldom got water, and she never got attention. Finally, when sound could barely come out of Taylor's mouth, and she was weak and barely able to lift her head out of the dirt hole she had dug to stay cool, a neighbor decided it was time to get involved. It took three days to get Taylor out of the situation she was in, but today she is a happy, healthy little girl who is full of life. She loves to run and play with the other dogs AND cats that she is fostered with. Taylor is totally housetrained and loves living as an inside dog. She loves hanging out with the humans and just relaxing. Taylor has been spayed and is ready to find a family that she can grow up with!
