Heidi is a mainly submissive Rottweiler female (possibly mixed) that has a considerable amount of love to give. She has been juggled from multiple homes and settles quickly into each. She was adopted from a shelter in Arizona and was shifted through family members before settling in Austin.
Unfortunately, her family desired a different breed of dog. She was then adopted into another family in which she became close friends with a female yellow lab and a male blue heeler.

She gets along well with other dogs (male and female) however she desires loads of attention. She is playful, yet can relax in any situation. She loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses. She is submissive to people and other dogs in all situations, yet may dominate her food bowl…and everyone else's! However, she will relinquish dominion over food without aggression when asked.

Once Heidi senses that her new owners intend to love and care for her unconditionally, she places safety of her family high on her list of priorities. She will send gentle warnings (barks or gentle nips) to threatening subjects rather than aggressive ones.

Heidi adjusts easily into any situation since she fully trusts her caretakers. She only asks that in return she be allowed to show her affection as often as possible.

Heidi is micro-chipped, house-trained, kennel-trained, and has an obedient, willing-to-please disposition. She is spayed and is up-to-date on all her vaccinations.
