Molson is a gorgeous 11 week old Black Lab mix. WHO could not fall in love with that face? Molson has been in Barkin Rescue's care since he was 4 weeks old, when himself and his littermates were found in a soggy beer case in a dumpster. He is the largest of his litter...the bumbliest and clumsiest, with those big paws and big robust body...he is SUCH a LAB!!! He may be the biggest one of the group, but he's also the biggest baby of the group! Always the way!! He loves attention and being cuddled and will likely grow up thinking he is a lap dog-a large lap dog at that! He is rough when playing with his littermates...but NOT aggressive, just very playful and forgets his bigger size. In his excitement to greet people, he will still nip a bit(again, NOT aggressive, just typical puppy behaviour), so he needs ongoing training as he grows. Molson knows the commands 'come', 'sit', and is still working on 'no bite' and 'no chew'...but he improves with every day as he is extremely food motivated and responds excellent to this type of training. He will be easy to train because of this. When it comes to bath or nail trimming time...of all the babies...he is the loudest and most whinney!! What a big baby! He is learning to walk on a leash and does enjoy it a lot. He loves to explore the yard and will prune the bushes for you. Molson loves playing with other dogs. His adopter will have to sign a contract promising to get him neutered as soon as he is 6 months old, or sooner if a vet in your area will perform alterations at an earlier age. He is up to date with vaccines and is thoroughly dewormed. Molson needs a Lab savvy home and one that has much time to commit to his training.
