My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Ollie and I am looking for my new 'furever' home.  I absolutely love people and children, especially if they are willing to scratch my back and rub my belly!  When you approach me I will roll right over for this luxury.

I love my walks, love riding in the car and am very good about both.  I have unique coloring and markings and people tell me all the time how beautiful I am.  I get along well with the beagles and bassets in our rescue and other dogs my size.  I am quiet and seldom bark.  I like leash walks as opposed to just going out back.  I love dog toys and can entertain myself quite well with them.

I am housetrained and crate trained.  I really like my crate and go in there a lot just to rest--no need to close the door for me!  I eat well and quickly--like all beagles.  I do not beg while my foster parents are eating.

I would make an excellent companion for an older person.  Even though I am 10 I still have lots of energy but also like to lay on the couch with you for belly rubs and play with my toys.

I have been to the vet just recently and am in good health--excellent, actually!  And I just had a full dental.  Please call Wendie and give me a chance to show you what a great boy I am!
