Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Honey 's approximate DOB is May 12, 2011
She was found in the middle of the street dodging cars at 8 weeks old. Nobody claimed her, so we kept her and took her to the Vet for a check up. Honey is sweet baby, who when we first took her in was very dirty, had fleas, worms, and the flies has bitten her tail so much she started to loose the fur on the tip of her tail. The Vet has checked her out completely, she has been dewormed, bathed, fleas removed, and her fly bites treated so the fur is already growing back. Since we have had Honey in the house with our other rescue dogs she has NEVER peed or pooped in the house. She cries when she needs to go potty, day or night, and we take her out on the leash...she potties and gets lots of praise. Right now Honey is a cute little fuzz ball. Our best estimate, combined with the Vet is that Honey is a mixed breed of Possibly Collie or Sheltie, and English Springer Spaniel. She has the most adorable freckles or spots like an English Springer Spaniel on her nose, feet, and sides. We do not know for certain, but we suppose she would max out her weight at about 40 pounds on the top side. The next few weeks should tell us more about how much she may grow, but you never can really tell in rescue when you are not certain of the parents.
Honey will need a fenced yard to play in at home.
If you want more info on Honey, or want to request a questionnaire for possible adoption please email us at sunsetanimalrescue@yahoo.com
If you do not have computer access call 803-635-4252 and leave a message.
Honey will be spayed as soon as scheduling permits. Her vaccinations are up to date, she has been dewormed, and will be kept on monthly flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative.
The adoption donation for HoneyBun is $200.00
