Meet "the brothers" – two beautiful little boys who were born out on their own. Their mother was rescued by a good Samaritan, and they were born on 3/13/09 along with 3 siblings (Katy, Karly, and Kyle).
Kevin is smaller, with darker markings.Karl is a little bigger, with lighter markings.These brothers have come a long way – their foster mom has been working with them for a while, and she is so very proud of how far along they’ve come. At first, they were very afraid and wouldn’t let anyone come near them or pick them up. Now, she can’t keep these boys out from under her feet! They are little purr boxes, too – they love snacks and playtime more than anything in the whole world!
Likes: ANY toys, following foster mom around from room to room, snacks!
Dislikes: rowdy dogs, loud noises, small children.
Kevin and Karl need: a quiet home together with older children or adults only. Calm dogs are OK.
Diet and other info: Kevin and Karl are eating Natural Balance Ultra hard food, and they love Fancy Feast canned food for breakfast and dinner! Another favorite is Friskies Party Mix snacks. Snack time is a real key to getting these two boys to warm up to you in their new home!
They use a mixture of Feline Pine and Tidy Cat litters in uncovered boxes.
They love cat condos! Both boys can be seen frequently at the top, and they love chasing each other to see who can make it up there first! They are little acrobats and have been seen jumping from cat tree to cat tree, sometimes dangling and hanging from only their front paws!
Porcelain and/or stainless steel bowls are best for food and water since they don’t cause chin acne.
If you’re willing to let these brothers get used to your home slowly, with one room dedicated to them to start, quiet sounds and soft music playing in the background, and snack and playtime daily – then you will be more than rewarded with their love.
