My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This family of 5 females and 1 male were found in a rural area of NC. They were living out in the yard (in this heat), were covered in fleas and had coccidia. The fleas are gone and the coccidia has been treated and it will soon be time to start a bright, happy life in a home of their own. They will be in Duluth on Friday afternoon and can meet potential adopters any time after that. These babies were born on May 5 which makes them 9-10 weeks old. Their momma was a Pekingese and we believe their daddy may have been a pug. Right now they weigh 3.5 lbs up to 5.2 lbs so they will probably be 15 lbs or less as adults.


**** NOTE: THESE ARE PUPPIES !! PUPPIES REQUIRE A LOT OF WORK, TIME AND PATIENCE. PUPPIES WILL POOP AND PEE IN THE HOUSE, THEY WILL CHEW, THEY WILL GET IN TO THINGS. PLEASE TAKE THIS IN TO CONSIDERATION BEFORE INQUIRING ABOUT THESE BABIES.


These puppies have had two rounds of DHPP, Bordetella and have been dewormed. They will need one more DHPP and a rabies vaccination on Aug 4. They will be spayed/neutered the week of 7/18 and will be ready to go home thereafter. Until then they are available for pre-adoption which would make them un-available to anyone else.
