Meet Lucy!

Lucy is estimated to be about 12 weeks old. This adorable female black kitten arrived at the RAS on 7/1/11 while at the shelter she seemed to enjoy playing with her sister and napping on her blanket. Over the 4th of July weekend, this little sweetie and her sister had the opportunity to go to a foster home for the long weekend while the shelter was closed.

The foster reported that the kittens were nervous at first, but this is to be expected especially since the foster has 2 dogs, a yorkie and doberman. The foster reported that the kittens came around and stopped hissing at the dogs but she would not say they like dogs, but did coexist, maybe a little more time and they would be friends. The foster indicated that the girls are very playful, good eaters, good with the litter box and love each other. Overall, the foster described them as very quiet and good kittys she said they would be GREAT pets.
