My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't be fooled by the photo! This is not another black cat for everyone to pass up! "Maverick" is a black tabby kitten but his fur looks like he rolled in powder snow. . ..it is quite unique. We tried to get it to show up in a photo. . .but guess we will just have to peak your curiosity and you will have to come meet him in person at RESQCATS.

Maverick was one of five kittens born to a sweetheart of a mom and he has her same disposition. . ..sweet but also with all the fun of a kitten. He loves to play with his brothers, "Ace" and "Ziggy" and would even consider taking one of them home for a kitty playmate. Hey, can't blame him. . .be kind of nice to have human playmates and a brother playmate for when the humans go out.

Maverick is looking for someone who understands that adoption is a lifetime commitment and he plans on being around for 13 plus years. . ..so give it serious thought and make sure when you call him at RESQCATS that you can promise him that.
He has received a vet exam, is tested for Felv/FIV, is wormed and had his first FVRCP vaccination, is neutered and micro-chipped. He goes home with health records, food, his favorite toys and a new blanket!
