When SFTH volunteers first saw Howie on a recent visit to a local shelter, it was clear that they had to bring Howie to rescue or he would be euthanized the next day. When taken out of the shelter to rescue, Howie immediately jumped in the SFTH van and curled up on a blanket, as if to say, “You’re not leaving me behind!”
Howie is approx 3 yrs-old and 55lbs. He seems to be adaptable, a comfortable companion with an affectionate nature and even disposition; active, alert, and playful, but not unduly boisterous. Howie received A++ temperament evaluation at the shelter, and his sweet disposition guaranteed him a temporary home with a SFTH volunteer. His foster dad said Howie is the most affectionate dog and LOVES to cuddle.
Howie adores people of all ages, he is not food/toy aggressive and not a barker or has separation anxiety. Can you open your heart and your home to Howie!?
