My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SAM: Age 8
Sam's former family left him behind in Carlsbad when they moved away. Sam is a handsome fellow who has adapted quietly and quickly to life at the Rescue and is polite to his fellow Wires. His one ear up, on down gives him an appealing, jaunty look. He has taken a bit of a shine to Princess. He loves his walks and does well on leash. Friendly and undemanding, it appears that Sam is also housebroken. This mellow fellow would probably adapt quickly to his new home and be very grateful for one that will be there for him forever.
