My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boone is a wonderful and very handsome 1 year old hound mix.
He is house trained and uses the doggy door in his foster home like a champ. Boone is an active and intelligent boy who craves interaction with people. He does not like being alone, so the perfect family will be one who can give him a secure loving home with lots of attention to provide the security he needs. He is very inquisitive and observant, so providing him with a variety of experiences will help keep him occupied. Boone would love to have a job and will need the guidance of an experienced dog/hound owner. He is very well mannered and sleeps all night in his doggie bed by the big bed. His foster keeps a doggie bed in each part of the house, because wherever she is, is where he wants to be.

He loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. He seems to understand and respect that smaller dogs cannot play in the same way as larger dogs, but would love a companion that could match his enthusiasm! He is also respectful of his foster's cat.
