Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Scarlett, this beauty found her self at a high kill shelter with no one to claim her. When her time was up, rescue step in and saved her. She had obviously been used as a breeder, lucky for her she does not have to worry about carrying any extra weight ever again!
Scarlett is a sweet 13 pound, chocolate dapple, tweenie girl that is about 2 years old. She is house trained & kennel trained and loves to play with toys (once she fiqured out ,thats what, they were for). She likes to cuddle and is content sleeping beside you on the couch. She has been spayed and brought up to date on vaccinations. She is Heartworm negative and although her coat is a little dull right now, with good food and extra TLC she will be in perfect shape in no time. Scarlett would like to be the alpha dog in her new home, and she would like to sleep in the big bed! After all, dont most Southern Belles sleep in a big bed?
If you can provide a loving for everhome for this sweet Southern girl, please go to almosthomerescue.org and fill out an application. You can contact her foster mom at doxierescuechic@gmail.com
