My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Little Lora's story started out sad but with your help we hope that it will have a happy ending! Beleive it or not, she was found in a trash bag inside of a dumpster when she was only 2 weeks old. Starving and cold, we were sure she wouldn't make it. Bottle feedings, medications, and a warm place to sleep were administered immediately in her foster home. Miraculously, she survived and is now a healthy, happy little girl. Because of her rough start, she's a little shy sometimes, but still warms up quickly to people and other animals (she lives with 3 cats and a chihuahua right now, and she loves to play with all of them!). In the right home, Little Lora has the potential to blossom into an outgoing and confident adult cat. Even now, if you are sitting on the couch reading a book or taking a nap on the bed, she'll come snuggle up with you and purr away.

Little Lora needs an indoor home, preferably with other feline friends and a friendly small to medium dog. It's vital that she be an indoor kitty, because if she becomes spooked by anything, she may dart off and her life may be in danger yet again. Cat-smart children over the age of 10 are recommended, and she is available for adoption now. Microchipping services are available with her adoption and is strongly encouraged.

Adoption Process: We are interviewing prospective adopters via e-mail at this time. This is a pre-screening process while she awaits her new lifelong home in foster care. Please contact us and provide a brief description of yourself and why you are interested in adopting her.
