My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Baxter! I was rescued on my kill day and I was taken right to the vet for my vaccines and my neuter! It's a good thing they took me to the doctor, because I'm also heartworm positive. It's okay, though, because my fosters have initiated treatment and I'll be back to normal in no time! I am about 2 years old and kinda small but strong....I'm about 40 lbs, but could stand to gain a few. I love kids, and I get along great with other dogs - in fact, I spent the evening off-leash at the dog park and I did great! I'm a lover, not a fighter, so even when a husky tried to rough me up, I let him know that I'm not into tussling! I'm also housebroken and my fosters say I've never had an accident! My adoption fee is $80...that's pretty cheap for a great dog like me who has his vaccines AND a neuter! I can't wait to meet you!!!
