My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello! My name is Charlie. I was rescued by some kind people in Michigan from a shelter where doggies like me sometimes get rounded up for something called research. I don't know what that is, but I hear that it is not a good thing. Anyway, here I am now in Ohio after having been rescued, transported, vetted, and transported again.

My foster mom says I am a totally wonderful, loving, gentle, and kind boy. I LOVE to chase balls. I have just discovered Kongs and have decided they are pretty cool, too. I particularly LOVE to prance in the back yard, and I LOVE to leap up in the air just for fun! I will need a fenced-in yard and a place to run and leap in my Forever Home.

I am very good on a leash, and I LOVE walks. I get along really well with other dogs. Cats, squirrels, and even the occasional rabbits that show up on our walks aren't really that interesting to me. Birds that fly over me in the back yard, however, are fascinating. I LOVE rides in the car, and I am an excellent passenger. I am housetrained, and I LOVE to snuggle. I sleep quietly and deeply on the floor next to my foster dad's side of the bed. Did I mention that I LOVE people?

I am underweight right now, but I have a great appetite, so that should not be a problem for much longer. Oh, and Mom says I don't bark unless I really, truly need something (like when I need to go out). Please consider adopting me. I promise I will give you lots of LOVE and many, many tail wags for years to come!
