Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Gabby was rescued from a high-kill pound. After just four days at the shelter, she is really starting to open up...what a loving, affectionate, endearing personaliity she has! This tiny girl - just nine pounds - is about 5 years old, and there are signs that her former life was not very good. She is somewhat hand shy, and crouches when she is about to be picked up, indicating that she is used to being grabbed. The poor little soul! But her luck will soon change, and her unfortunate past will make her all the more appreciative of living in a loving and safe home, and will also make her tend to form a very close bond with the new person or persons in her life. I have also found that dogs with this sort of background tend to become exceptionally joyful once they are in a nurturing environment.
Gabby is crate-trained, and appears to be housebroken. She looks like she could be a Miniature Dachshund and Chihuahua mix. She gets along very well with other dogs, and despite her name, is rather quiet. Gabby loves tummy rubs, and her personality will unfold more and more once she is given affection and loving care on a daily basis. She would be a good companion for a single person, couple, or family with children over a age 10.
Thanks to a generous donation from an adopter, Gabby has been given a second chance in life. If you are looking for a small, loving, no-puppy-drama new best friend for life, please email reinashouse@yahoo.com, or call 336-552-9885.
