My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Luna and I am 1.5 years old. I am a petite PB Terrier mix and weigh approximately 40 lbs. I came to rescue from a kill shelter with literally minutes to live.

I am a fun-loving, petite girl that is full of life and love. I know how close I came to death and am happy to be living life to the fullest. My foster mom says, that of all her rescues, if she were to keep one I would be it!! Wow, that's a huge compliment! She also says that I am an awesome cuddler, I listen well and mind my manners.

I love to go for walks and am learning not to pull. When I have my harness on I walk like a lady. I greet people gently and do not jump up on them. I'm typically a mellow girl and don't get overly excited. I have even learned a few commands like: sit, kennel, and outside.

Because I love to play with other dogs, I would love to go to a home with another dog, but I would do well as an only dog too with someone who will play tug and fetch with me. I am not a dominant dog, but I don't back down when harrassed by a dominant dog. I have not been around cats yet, but could be cat tested. I am with kids as young as 5 years old in my foster home and do very well with them. I am house trained and crate trained. My adoption fee is $235. Please e-mail for the adoption application.
