Daisy was born 1-08-2010. She is a l year and 5 month old AKC German Shepherd. She is housetrained, spayed, been around a cat since she was 4 months old. She is very protective of those that she knows, shy at first but does warm up with patience. She is very smart. Has had training to walk at her trainers left side, will sit and stay, will wait for food until given a signal. She does very well riding in a car. Her shots are up to date as of spring. She has mainly been around 1 female person, and a few other adults outside the home. She barks at other dogs and has not been around them closely but does fine on a training collar at the park,. She has never been around small children so I can not give any advise on this. I am moving and want to find a good home for her. She is very sweet with me and loves to run and play. She would make a wonderful protection dog for a single lady. I feel totally safe with her. I have a 10 x 20 fence but she runs freely mainly with an electric collar. We live near a main road and she has never been even close out of her boundary which is 1/2 acre. She lays at my front door until I go out 99% of the time. I have not owned a dog or a german shepherd really since I was a child but my heart was in the right place when I got Daisy, unfortunatly, my circumstances have changed and I now find I have to re-home her. With this being said I don't know how to pick a good owner but that is what is important, therefore, home visit and vet reference is needed, plus fenced yard.
