Wendell will be available for adoption on June 6 but we are accepting applications for him now. Wendell is a loyal, loving little guy who needs a patient home. It takes him longer to warm up, but once he picks his person, he will follow him/her everywhere. Even after warming up, he can be hesitant to allow someone to pick him up and may hide. He will, however, when you are sitting down come to sit in your lap to receive love and attention. Wendell thrives on being around other dogs, so a home with at least one other playful pup is a must. He literally lights up when he’s playing with his buddies, and Finn is his BFF in his foster home. His housetraining seems to be going well, but he is a bit apprehensive about crossing over door thresholds. Once outside, he will potty as he’s supposed to, but it takes a little coaxing for him to understand that it’s okay to come out the door. Due to his timid nature, Wendell will not be adopted to a home with young children.

Adoption fee is $200.
