My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bree is a beautiful and very affectionate cat. She loves to be petted and rubs up against you or meows when she wants attention. She was recently rescued from a high kill shelter in Georgia. She has been combo-tested Negative for HW/FeLV/FIV, Spayed, Vet. Checked, fully Vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated. bathed and groomed. Bree is now ready for her forever home. She does well around other cats, has had limited contact with dogs and we believe would be fine with children. Bree is about 1 year old.

Our rescue cats are tested for Heartworm, Feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, spayed/neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations and receive flea & worm treatment. They are also bathed, groomed & get a nail trim. The adoption fee $100 and helps defray these expenses.

A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one.

Our cats are fed Iams brand cat foods thanks to the "Iams Home 4 the Holidays" Bags 4 Bowls program. When you purchase Iams brand pet foods, they in turn donate much needed food to participating Animal Rescues and Shelters!.
