My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Louise is a cute, fun and playful Marbled Tabby kitten. We rescued her along with her mom "Thelma" from a high-kill shelter. Louise loves to play with anything and espeically other cats. She has been Vet. Checked, Combo-tested negative for HW/FeLV/FIV, is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed and flea treated. Her adoption feeof $80 includes a spay/neuter certificate.

Our rescue kittens are tested for Heartworm, Feline leukemia and FIV, Vet. checked, given age appropriate vaccinations and receive flea & worm treatment. They are also bathed, groomed & get a nail trim. The adoption fee helps defray these expenses.

A Home for Cats is proud to be a no-kill rescue. Once a cat comes into our care, it stays with us until adopted, no matter how long that takes. Of course, when you adopt one of our cats, it makes it possible for us to rescue another one.

Our cats are fed Iams brand cat foods thanks to the "Iams Home 4 the Holidays" Bags 4 Bowls program. When you purchase Iams brand pet foods, they in turn donate much needed food to participating Animal Rescues and Shelters!.
