Teddy is an 11 year old male, Apricot Toy Poodle, he is a little tubba wubba who has joined weight watchers. Teddy is a tiny boy has short legs but is a wider boy (don't tell him, he has no idea). Teddy came into TPR after his mom had a baby and the toddler was chasing him and pulling his ears, Teddy was not happy.
Teddy is a typical old man who loves his routine, naps, walks, naps, breakfast, naps, dinner and a nap. He is a fantastic companion and sticks by you just incase you need a little boy to give a tummy rub too (see picture) or need someone to share your snack with (he loves cooked veggies).
We did a complete medical overhaul on Teddy as far as his health is concerned and he came back totally healthy, no heart problems, blood work was perfect and all other tests negative, he also got a dental cleaning, this boy is so healthy he is ready for a walk whenever you are! Teddy runs when the urge takes him and also walks perfectly on a leash. Teddy loves to go with you anywhere, he is great in the car and has excellent manners.
Teddy is looking for someone who will not judge him by his age but what he will give to you in return with gratitude, love and companionship. His foster Mom absolutely loves him and he will bond very fast to his new owner.
Personally I LOVE the seniors, they 'get it' they are grateful and so easy to live with, just asking for a quiet but love filled life with a little chicken or steak every now and then along with the cooked veggies LOL.
Teddy is a good boy!
