My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Almond was surrendered to SOS as a neglect case. Her owners had put her outside for a year after being an indoor cat. She was covered in mats and scared to death. Before surrender they tried to "clean her up" by using scissors to cut of the mats. Almond was sliced open down her back leaving a 2.5 inch slash on her back. She has since been stitched up and is healed now. She had to be shaved to get rid of the mats and get her stitches but it is growing back in and looks great. She is a ragdoll that is mostly cream but has gray and beige spots on her. Almond is exceptionally friendly to people, she loves them, but does not like other cats. We believe this has to do with her past neglect but still she should be an only cat. What is great is that Almond is fantastic with dogs! Her current foster has a black lab and she and Almond sleep together. Almond is a really terrific cat and deserves a great home, please consider Almond for your family.
