My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am so sad! My humans married me off to a Rottweiler (he is nice, but I'm just a puppy!) and now they took my husband back to his house, and I am here taking care of our 4 puppies all alone in the backyard! I am only a puppy myself, but somehow I've managed to feed and teach my puppies and be a good teenage mommy. Now I found out my humans want to keep two of my puppies and get rid of me! My friend, AJ, tells me that I am so sweet, she is sure this will turn out to be a good thing for me, because maybe I'll get a real nice home, and live in the house and run free in the yard. That sounds so wonderful, but I can only hope. I've been on a very heavy chain for a long time. They say being on a chain makes dogs mean and that's true, but I am not mean. I'm still young, and I know people are nice -- my people just don't know how sad I am. I am a little scared when a new person comes to see me, but I come right up to them anyway. And when they want to pet me I am so happy, I just lay my head in their hand and if I knew how, I'd PURR!
I haven't seen any cats, so I am not sure if I like them or not. I love kids and AJ says I could learn to play Frisbee real good -- look at the picture of me jumping! I'm not sure what Frisbee is, but it sounds fun!
I look like a miniature golden retriever. I'm golden-brown, with medium hair, but I am only about 30 lbs, so I guess one of my parents was pretty small.
I've had a sort of rough life, but I am friendly, quiet and gentle.
